There is a substantial solution to the problem of bearing "running circle" that troubles China's machinery industry. Recently, the technology of overcoming the outer race of bearings developed by engineer Liu Yi has won multiple national awards and has been widely promoted in jaw crushers in the sand and gravel industry.
The so-called "running circle" of a bearing refers to the relative motion between the outer ring and the bearing seat or the inner ring and the shaft of the bearing. The planetary gears of the wind turbine gearbox may run out of turn, causing irreparable damage to the gearbox. At present, there is no mature technology in China that can detect and solve bearing "ring running" faults in advance. The vast majority of bearing "ring running" faults are confirmed after the gearbox is damaged.
The inventor of this technology, Liu Yi, has conducted long-term research on the problem of the outer ring of jaw bearings in mining machinery, especially in jaw crushers, which seriously affects the service life. Eventually, he overcame this problem and applied for multiple applications. According to Liu Yi, after the bearing is assembled, the ball rotates while the inner ring and shaft remain stationary (the outer ring and hole remain stationary). The existing technology adopts an interference fit between the eccentric shaft and the bearing inner ring. During assembly, the left and right bearing inner rings of the moving jaw are heated and fitted into the eccentric shaft. After room temperature is reached, the left side of the moving jaw is threaded to the right side for assembly. If the hole of the moving jaw is an interference fit with the outer ring, it cannot be installed; If it can fit in, it is a gap fit, and sooner or later it will run off the outer ring, seriously affecting the lifespan of the jawbone. And this technology achieves the effect of not running the outer ring of the moving jaw bearing.
At present, this technology has been promoted by the China Sand and Gravel Association and has been validated for many years in multiple mines in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Sichuan, Jiangxi and other provinces (regions), receiving high praise from users. It is the only product in China that can meet the machinery industry standard JB/T1388-2015 of the People's Republic of China.
The method of overcoming the problem of dynamic jaw bearings not running out of the outer (inner) ring is similar to that of wind turbine bearings running out of the outer ring, and compared to this, the working environment of dynamic jaw bearings is more harsh, and the bearing can withstand greater torsional force. Therefore, this technology is more convenient and practical to overcome the problem of wind turbine bearings running out of the outer ring. Liu Yi said that the next step is to expand this technology from dynamic jaw bearings to the field of generator bearings, in order to better serve equipment manufacturing enterprises, extend the service life of gearboxes, and improve efficiency.
