In order to improve the service life of imported bearings, it is necessary to choose a bearing lubrication method that uses clean lubricating oil. There are many methods of oil lubrication, including oil injection, oil bath, oil mist, circulating oil, oil slinger, drip lubrication, and so on.
1. For high-speed applications, fuel injection must provide sufficient but not excessive lubricating oil to the bearings in order to achieve sufficient lubrication without increasing the operating temperature. A particularly effective method used here is the oil injection method, which uses high pressure to spray oil towards one side of the bearing. The speed of fuel injection must be high enough (at least 15 meters per second) to penetrate the turbulence surrounding the rotating bearing.
2. A simple oil lubrication method using an oil bath. The lubricating oil carried by the rotating parts of the bearing is distributed inside the bearing and then flows back into the oil groove. When the bearing is stationary, the oil level should be close to the center of the low rolling components. It is recommended to use an oil level gauge such as LAHD 500 to ensure the correct oil level. When operating at high speeds, the oil level can significantly decrease, and the bearing housing may overflow lubricating oil due to the oil level gauge.
3. Oil mist has been discouraged for some time due to its potential adverse effects on the environment. The new generation of oil mist generator can generate oil mist with an oil content of 5ppm. The newly designed special seal also reduces the amount of oil mist that spreads to a minimum. If synthetic non-toxic oil is used, it can further reduce its impact on the environment. Today, the oil mist lubrication method is used in very special applications such as the petroleum industry.
4. Circulating oil: High speed operation will cause an increase in working temperature and accelerate oil aging. To avoid frequent oil changes and achieve complete immersion, the circulating oil lubrication method is generally used. Circulation is usually carried out using an oil pump. After passing through the bearing, the oil generally flows into the oil groove, where it is filtered and cooled if necessary before returning to the bearing. Proper filtration can improve the coefficient and extend the service life of the bearing. Cooling the lubricating oil can maintain a lower operating temperature of the bearing.
5. The reference bearing standards and bearing standards for imported bearings show that the standards for imported rolling bearings are universal. Imported bearings can be used even in negative clearances to improve rigidity. Each structure of rolling bearings has its own characteristics. Oil slinger: For applications that require oil lubrication due to speed and operating temperature, and have high reliability requirements, we recommend using the oil slinger lubrication method. The oil slinger plays a role in driving oil circulation. The oil slinger is loosely hung on one side of the bearing shaft sleeve and immersed in the oil in the lower half of the bearing housing. As the shaft rotates, the oil slinger also rotates, transporting oil from the bottom to the storage tank. Then, the lubricating oil flows through the bearings and returns to the bottom oil tank.
6. Imported bearings simplify the structure around them, making maintenance and inspection easier. Generally, it can withstand both radial and axial loads simultaneously. Easy to use under high and low temperature conditions. Drip lubrication: also known as oil air lubrication method, which uses compressed air to accurately measure a small amount of lubricating oil and lubricate each bearing. Compared with other lubrication methods, this method of using a small amount of oil lubrication can enable bearings to operate at lower temperatures or higher speeds. Using measuring devices such as VOGELOLA oil+air system, the oil is delivered to the pipeline at specified intervals. Lubricating oil relies on compressed air for transportation; It is coated on the inside of the catheter and crawls along the inside of the catheter; Spray onto the bearing through the nozzle. Compressed air plays a role in cooling bearings and generating additional pressure in the bearing layout to prevent impurities from entering.
In order to ensure the service life and performance of bearings, we should choose the correct method of lubricating bearings with clean lubricating oil to avoid damage during bearing use.
