Four point contact ball bearing
Four point contact ball bearings are radial single row angular contact ball bearings, with raceways used to support axial loads acting in two directions. For a given axial load, limited radial loads (load ratio) can also be supported. The bearing is designed in a separated manner, which means that the outer ring with rolling balls and cage components can be installed separately from the two inner half rings.
The double half inner rings of SKF Explorer four point contact ball bearings have grooved shoulders. When used in combination with cylindrical roller bearings, it improves the flow of oil. In addition, the concave part can also be used for disassembly.
Bearing characteristics
Can withstand axial loads in two directions
The required axial space is relatively small
Compared with double row bearings, this type of bearing significantly reduces the axial space occupied.
High load-bearing capacity
More steel balls can be loaded into the bearing to achieve higher load-bearing capacity.
Separate design
The separated inner ring can achieve more convenient installation and disassembly of bearings.
Improve the flow state of lubricating oil
When subjected to high clamping force, the deformation of its inner ring is limited
